On a perfect summer day in the Rockies, Island Lake Lodge looked like something straight out of a dream. For Laura & Connor, this was the perfect setting for a wedding that felt as free and effortless as they are. With towering mountain peaks and the calm, crystal-clear lake as their backdrop, they exchanged vows in a way that felt personal and real - just their closest friends and family, nature, and a whole lot of love.

Shannon was an absolute DREAM start to finish. So down to earth and easy to chat to in our first consultation, totally communicative and understanding in the months leading up to our wedding, and a warm, fun and totally professional presence on the actual day!! Not to mention that we are OBSESSED with the photos she took. She's absolutely worth every penny!!

We couldn’t be happier with our choice to hire West of Yonge Studios for our engagement and wedding photography. In all the wedding day chaos, Shannon was a reassuring and calming presence. My wife and I are a bit camera shy and weren’t sure how to pose. Shannon was quick to give us prompts to help us loosen up so that we were able to get a nice blend of portraits and candid shots. The photos are absolutely stunning and captured our day perfectly! She also clearly listened to our requests such as getting lots of nature portraits and photos of our guests enjoying the reception.
