Let’s talk Kitchener-Waterloo weddings!
If you’ve been following West of Yonge Studios for a while, you know that for the last 7-years Toronto has been our home. The city will always hold a very special place in my heart, that will never change.
What has changed is that my family and I have chosen to settle down and grow roots in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. I am all-in on this new exciting chapter, which means I am really focusing on being more present in the local wedding scene. I’m here to get to know all the venues, connect with local vendors, and most importantly I am so excited to meet all of the amazing couples who choose this incredible area to have their wedding day.
I’m really stoked to be here.
What this means for you
If you’re getting married in Tri-City area and beyond, this means you’ve got a photographer who’s local and fully invested. I will bring the same energy I’ve brought to every wedding I’ve photographed over the last 7 years, and become fully invested in ensuring that your wedding day is captured in a way that is 100% authentically you, no matter who you are or how you celebrate it.
As always this is a fully LGBTQ+ safe and inclusive space, there will never be any assumptions, weird energy, or traditional expectations of you.
The Deal (because I really want to get to know this new area I’m working in)
To kick things off in this new region, and to help me get to know all of the local venues as well as I can, I am offering my $4000 Signature package – a full day of coverage with 1 photographer – for just $3000. This deal applies to any 2027 or 2028 couple who are the FIRST couple to book me at any of the venues listed below.
This isn’t going to be a scaled-back version of anything, you are going to get the same package and experience I bring to every wedding. It just gives me an opportunity to start tailoring my portfolio towards the local venues in this new awesome area while simultaneously giving you an incredible deal!

What working with me is like
My main philosophy on your wedding day is that it is a wedding first, not a photoshoot. As such I will never interrupt a genuine moment of connection to ask you to redo something or move slightly to the left. During the portrait session I will use a combination of prompts and suggestions to help you feel your best most relaxed self in front of the camera, but for the bulk of your wedding day I operate entirely as a documentary photographer to ensure you are never taken out of the moment.
As a wedding photographer, my goal is to always tell your story in a way that is authentic to who you are as individuals and a couple. I want the vibe of your wedding to come through in your photos exactly how you felt it on the day.
I’m so excited to be here
If you’re planning a wedding at one of these venues, and you like my style of photography, let’s talk. Even if you’re just curious about my availability or want to have a chat and see if we seem like a good fit, I am always down to have a low-pressure conversation with you!
I can already tell that this pocket of Ontario is going to be a ton of fun to live and work in, and I am super excited to join the wedding community here and build something awesome. Thank you for welcoming me to the Tri-City area, I’m so excited to be here!
